The easiest way to describe what to do is to take the clutch that will be mounted with the sprocket furthest from the engine, remove the internals and then swap the shoes around so that they look identical FROM LOOKING AT THEM FROM THE SHAFT END as they do from the side you can see when assembled and as standard from the box. What they will then look like when reassembled is the lug will engage with the right hand of the two grooves in the shoes, and this groove will be the one that is the closer of the two to the leading edge of the shoe.
Very difficult to explain without pictures, but if you look at the diagrams in the box it should make sense.....
