It seems that Magnussen hardly got the drive for free now that the car is splashed with his personal sponsors logos "Jack Jones" based on the size of the logos I would be surprised if he got the seat for less than 10 million dollars......I can imagine the situation, Maldonados money had dried up, and he had left a bitter taste in the mouth of F1 in general and I'm sure Renault didnt want such an ego and liability representing their Renault brand......then Mikka Hakkinen walks in with Magnussen and throws approx 10 million dollars on the table from Jack Jones......seems like a no-brainer to me for Renault to take on Magnussen
