amberley Kart Club (CKC) are holding an open Bambino practice day on Saturday 13th February 2016 for any Bambino drivers aged 6-8 to run alongside the normal practice day agenda.
Bambino’s will have their own timed practice sessions on track and will be able to experience the challenge of the Surrey track.
To support CKC in this event, the Veneno Racing Team will be at the track with their team awning to provide full support to any Bambino driver and their parents, free of charge across all aspects of Bambino karting including:
- Early morning track walk for drivers with Team Instructors and ex-drivers (available until 09:30am) and additional track walks during lunch break
- Professional driver instruction throughout the day
Parent assistance and guidance on any aspect of karting you may have
- Brand New 2016 Wright Centaur Bambino Kart on display to try your driver out for size
In addition, with the club, the event will also include:
- Welcome to the club and how you can get started (09:00-09:15)
- Kart Safety Check (TBC)
This historic Surrey circuit provides a challenging drive for both novice and experienced drivers alike combined with a friendly club atmosphere. In 2016, CKC are holding their inaugural Bambino Championship run over 10 rounds from January to October (8x rounds to count) to MSA regulations.
Bambino provides the perfect entry level for aspiring young karters who are just starting out on a racing career or simply want to have some fun in a racing kart.
Veneno Racing are a Bambino and Cadet race team who specialize in the introduction and development of novice racers to karting and work with them at all levels from club racing to national championships to help them develop, improve and achieve their goals. Veneno will also have Honda Cadet’s in the awning on this date so you can see a potential next step in your drivers development.
Any bambino driver wishing to test at CKC on the day will need to pay the usual club practice day fees. Veneno support is provided free of charge for Bambino drivers and their parents.
