you cannot make a business plan on owner drivers alone.

Ian Rennison (Clay Pigeon) used to say that a single full corporate grid gave more profit than an entire Superone meeting Thursday to Sunday, and that was before they had to start repairing the track after someone had totalled the safety cells.

Some tracks see only 60 or 70 drivers at a weekend meeting, while Buckmore Park regularly seem to have 2 full grids (35 karts in a grid?) in their 1 hour solo enduro races .

Corporate drivers outnumber owner drivers by about 100 to 1 ( ie: 5000 to 10,000 owner drivers, probably over a million drivers who use corporate (hire and drive) facilities for everything from 'a bit of fun' to Birthdays to corporate days.
