Get the bbq out 2 bags of instant lighting charcoal place exhaust on top turn now and again watch it set on fire, allow to cool give it a tap watch all the crap fall out job done.

Anyone wanting to clean restrictors get a kilner jar half fill with oven cleaner put a zip tie around the object place in jar with other end of the zip tie hanging out of the closed lid so you don't have to go all in with your hands to get it back out, and leave for few days clean with some scotch brite rince under the tap job done.
I used to leave it in inbetween meetings, anyone with young kids to stop curiosity getting the better of them tell them what's in there.
