Motorsport from karts to F1 is now just a get rich gravy train for those with the deep pockets to run a team. I would imagine a lot of the team owners money comes from black economy sources so losing a few millions along the way is nothing to them.

I laugh when F1 is described as the biggest sport on the planet. Well yes it is if you are looking at it from the perspective of the few people who take a billion a year in dividends having paid Bernie 2 billions for the priveledge.

An average footballer earns 50k per week and F1 can can only pay 10 drivers with another 10 buying to be there.

F1 has gone the "banking" route being owned by the same. They aren't interested in the best drivers in the world being in the championship. They just want to do enough to keep their gravy train running and con the next rich Dad to buy their son's a drive.

For goodness sake they have even made the cars so slow and easy to drive just about anyone who has passed an ARDs would be able to drive one competently.

They control "their" product so tightly even the drivers are not aloud to speak their mind and everyword spoken on tv is religiously recorded. For those who haven't heard of Cambodia and the Khmer Rouge this is how we do "mind control" in the so called free world. Unbelievable

The sad thing is they are missing a brilliant marketing opportunity that could see audiences grow. Us motorsport enthusiast know the whole thing is a big con and switched off years ago. But they are assuming the average viewer is too dumb to distinguish between good and bad racing. I think that's bull because no one bothers to watch F1 unless they do have a genuine interest.

Someone I know is into football and Rugby and they will never get the point of cars going round in circels (we know there's more to it). Likewise if the two best football teams came on the tv for the biggest prize ever I wouldn't give it 30 seconds before I was borred to death.

Unfortuinately in the world we live in money and technology rule and ruin everything.

The powers that be think we are all homoginous consuming units and our purpose is to provide them with "revenues" and bottom line profits. The idea that they would have to provide a qaulity service or product in return is no longer part of the equation.

Like today's politicians, F1 is complete fraud. The question is how long will it take people to realise that ultimately the power lies with them by switching off and more importantly not giving a mandate to those who have propped up the bankers in the biggest scam and scandal ever perpitrated on society.
