3/6 extra nuts and a quick removal of the outer protector takes a 5 seconds with 3 nuts on the outer protector.

Iv never lost a chain with 2 protectors. and in a rush you can run stupidly loose tension and it still stays on. So i think its faster as you don't have to worry as much about tension being too loose in a rush. and chain tension takes the longest time.

I wouldn't run a modern kart without two especially the way an OTK etc flexes.
