Chances are you could run them for a short while but it's highly probable the cracks will propogate and eventual failure of the clutch during operation. If your clutch is checked in scutineering after a race it's more than likely the scrutineer will exclude you form the race!!!
As more club's are trying standing starts at the moment you can definately expect to have to replace your clutch drums more frequently. We've done 4 clutch drums & 1 clutch in last four/five outings.
