yup, I'm learning this myself, the window for a check-up is 10 to 15 hours to check for valve leakage. also your jetting needs assessing on the dyno, the problem I now have was our T2 engine was last serviced and set-up in November, the ambient temperature was 6 degrees, so its running a "winter-jet".....I have since been told this makes a significant difference to the on track performance when running in summer conditions of 15-25DegC, whereby the engine does not rev as well by about 300rpm in the mid range......I myself am highly experienced with engines, as are the majority of people on this forum, but not everyone has a dyno, hence you need the dyno validation, do yourself a favour stop messing with it and get it over to Richard at UFO, as a ball park cost guide, for a top end re-build, dyno before and after, gaskets, jets + delivery back to you is only about £120.....which is the cost of about 2 or 3 test sessions and loads of wasted time + aggro
