Hi,
just finished preping my lad's TKM for the morning!
TKM class used to have to run exclusive TKM chassis with ID plate plus serial numbers: this has now been relaxed. My understanding is that you may use any suitable chassis (we used a Tonycart Venox) but if torsion bars are fitted, they must be permanently welded or brazed in position. Also, camber & castor adjustment on the front wheels is not allowed, you have to fit kingpins giving a neutral setting.
A bit silly in my humble opinion, it's not as if these features are cutting edge any more.
You're not allowed an engine temperature gauge either!
How strange is that?
Regards,
Dave.
