Big thanks to Darren Beavers of the Bambino Kart Club for organising the championship and dealing with all the MSA matters that are part of this series.

There were 25 Bambinos out at the weekend in all conditions and some really great driving from 6 and 7 year olds. Look at the top of the time sheets and there will be some names of future British Champions there in the years to come I am sure.

The funniest part of the weekend was when it started to drizzle in one of the heats and the oil/slippy surface yellow and red striped flag came out.

That bambinos saw that as close enough to a chequered flag so time to come in. The Clerk of the Course then gathered them all together and walked them out of the pits onto the track to look at the flag and also a suitable wet line around the hairpin. Great to see this gaggle of suited, booted and helmeted little ones following the Clerk around.

Top job by all and a well run day by Llandow.
