I believe the high price of the CIK chassis is to pay for the development they put into it (cost of drivers, mechanics, race team, CAD, CAE, FEM). Theory being you get a better a product. And lets face it, Tonykart have pretty much won everything for a few years now. Occasionally something else wins, but mainly its tonykart.

Haven't the prices for all the other no british cik karts gone up? Even the british made ones have gone up somewhat because almost all their bits are made by the italians (sprocket carriers etc).

Easy way to sort yourself out though, don't buy the green machine.
