"for me a option to build karting from the ground up maybe to have the following:"

You then go on to describe the philosophy and format of the NKRA Championships as if it was a new idea.

(The next question might then be: if you think the idea so great, do you enter for the NKRA?)

I don't think that there are too many championships, but there are serious problems with personalities in karting, and those problems spill out into damage for the sport as a whole.

Trouble is that these personalities have been necessary to get anything done but then are somewhat inflexible to any other ideas.

Another persistent problem is the 'best class' concept. There is no such animal, if only because the other classes exist as much as anything to rectify the faults found in others. But it is clear on here that for some people only 'their class' or their championship should exist.

You make the very good point that many very good drivers are unable to compete at the highest level because they just cannot afford it. It isn't just a case of buying a top engine but the sheer cost of seat-time.

The fault lies, not in the number of championships, but in the MSA trying to present one single 'Karting Champion'. After all, do we expect to see one single "Open Wheel Champion" for all formulas from F1 to Formula Ford?
