Both engines are from Lewis Round who moved to Formula blue and now Rotax. I am pretty sure they are genuine well looked after engines. Both engines are direct drive (short cranks) They have been changed from long cranks after they were sold by Talko from new. I did this on one of my engines (now my quickest)upon my engine builders advice as the crank half oil seal on the long clutch crank half has a very tight oil seal (by design) which takes a lot more running in to free up. I know we are talking very small amounts here but in such a competitive class we are always looking for that bit more.
