Can anyone help please. I have a Gx390 that starts fine with the choke on but the engine dies immediately the choke is turned off. I have stripped the carb twice each time sqirting loads of carb cleaner through the pilot and main jets, emulsion tube and all the holes in the carb body. I have also checked out the pulse pump and it seems to be delivering loads of fuel. There is a T piece in the fuel line from the pump to the carb, this pipe returns fuel to the tank. The fault still occures with this return pipe open and closed off.
One thing I have noticed is that as soon as the engine stops the carb vents lots of fuel. has anyone any ideas as to what is wrong or what I should try next. Richard
