Ohhh... this is TOO barmy....

So....

If '..... the Sun shut down in 2007...'

... then please tell me EXACTLY what it was that was shining on JUST a FEW days in 2008 and has CONTINUED to shine for the first few days of 2009!

Not a sane person on the PLANET would describe a drop in Solar 'heat; output from a peak of sun spot activity to a trough of about NOUGHT POINT ONE PERCENT (0.1%) in Solar output as:-

'the sun Shut Down in 2007'.

....insanity being the reason YOU did......!

Secondly, you also KEEP thinking that Sun Spot Maxima and Minima arrive LIKE CLOCK WORK. THEY DO NOT! All you have to do to SEE this is to LOOK at the graphs of the history of Sun Spots to see that the '11 year cycle' is only a VERY rough description of the 'cycle'! Here is a clear and simple garph that even YOU will be able to understand:-

http://solarscience.msfc.nasa.gov/images/ssn_yearly.jpg

Can you not SEE how variable that group of peaks and troughs IS and how the GAPS are NOT consistently 11 years but only average OUT to be '11 years'? Why do you INSIST on being SO SHOCKED that the next 11 year 'rise' is NOT starting EXACTLY 4015 day after the LAST 'start'???

This page will give you MORE information on 'Sun Spots':-

http://solarscience.msfc.nasa.gov/SunspotCycle.shtml

I almost DREAD to show you this stuff or else you will repeat the LUDICROUS link that BEACUSE the Maunder Minimum and the Little Ice Age coincide (roughly) that there IS a CAUSAL link between them. However, before you TRY this tripe, can you explain why there WAS no corresponding DROP in global temp during in the years:-

1800 to 1825

1870 to 1910

.... because there was a SIGNIFICANT drop in sun spot activity in THOSE periods, TOO!

Can you also tell us why there was NO 'heatwave' around 1950 and in the early 1960s (both of which mark the HIGHEST peaks of Sun Spot activity) which AMAZINGLY both coincide with STAGGERINGLY cold weather (in the UK)? Remember, I was HERE in 1962/3 and SAW that 'big chill'!

Finally, having a memory, I am NOT fooled by you on this stuff. When you FIRST started linking Sun Spot activity with 'global warming', you had the link BACKWARD! You THOUGHT that the sun gave off LESS 'heat' in High Sun Spot activity and it was ME that showed you this was TRIPE! However, instead of you REVERSING your view when you FINALLY understood it, you simply REVERSED your views about HOW it proved that sun spots were linked to 'global warming'. It was a spectacular.... but ineffective.... BACKFLIP on your part! You simply bend ANY 'evidence' to fit your SILLY views!
