race wear needs to be FIA/CIK approved, suits, boots & gloves..race suits have a life span of 10 years..date is embroidered on coller of suit.

you can pick up second hand stuff on ebay, pitbay or check out the market place on this web site, wouldnt recommend buying a second hand helmet, you can never be sure of the history. there are new helmets on the markert that neet the msa standards for about £140. V2 helmets i think. dartford karting amongst others sell them.

you get a copy of the 2009 regs with your licence, they may be on the MSA web site.
