In the December Scrutineers News sent to ALL Scrutineers by the MSA it states:-

CIK ‘08’ Bodywork
Please be aware that ‘08’ CIK homologated bodywork that expires at the end of 2008 and has not had its homologation renewed is permitted for use during 2009. Where you come across such bodywork in use it is worth advising the competitor that they may be required to fit in date bodywork for 2010.

This is different to the ABkC October 2008 Newsletter! My understanding is that for 2009 you are OK to use "08" bodywork and was earlier confirmed by ColinR.
