Mychron Measures in Race Studio
mychron 4 with magnetic reciever, water temp sensor and rpm lead on senior rotax
i was looking in race studio yesterday and i just wanted to know what the different 'measures' measure.
what i had displayed was
Engine 8532 RPM
Temperature 49 C
Datalogger Temp 14 C
Battery 8.5 V
i understand that engine is the engine rpm, and guess that temperature is my water temperature from the engine, datalogger temp measures ambient temperature. what i dont know is what is the battery measures,is thatthe rotax battery mounted on seat, or is it the mychron internal battery.
also is there a definitions guide of what other measures are.

i have just bought an ebox what i would like to mount directly onto the nassau panel. in doing this will i still be able to record all the g-force data to produce a detailed track map. i also will be attaching a rear wheel speed sensor and wondered if anybody makes the bracket needed to attach the sensor to the bearing hanger.

finally as you know the ebox has the option to record 3 temperature settings. at the moment i am recording the water temperature. i know that you can record the cylinder head temperature as well at the exhaust gas temperature for testing purposes only. what i am asking is if i fit another sensor eg exhaust gas sensor is it possible be able to look at the data and make significant changes to improve the performance. in your opinion is it worth paying the extra for theextra data gained.
if you use mychrons what data do you record. i guess that most would record
lap time
engine run time
engine RPM
water temperature
Lateral G force
Speed
Distance
is there any other data that would be useful to record
