You can always try and bend your knees? LOL Sorry Mark, I was just being silly there! Just couldn't help it, it is the silly season afterall isn't it? Forgiven? Thanks. I'll continue then.
The answer is not as straight forward as you might think. Of course moving the seat has a far greater effect to handling than moving the pedals. The best result is always and only to be found in testing of course.
If you are struggling to adjust the pedals any further forward, you might have to use a pedal adjuster kit. However, you have to pay close attention to the fact that technically you cannot have your feet outside the confines of the chassis (for safety reasons of course). Pedal adjuster kits are available from a number of manufacturers, WildKart for one, but they are primarily designed to shorten the distance rather than lengthen it, however, turn them around and hey presto you gain length!
Have a look at the Dartford Karting website here: http://www.kartstore.co.uk/, drill down to Kart Parts, Pedals, Pedal Relocators. The article code is: WKEPPN Just to give you an idea what can be done. But please check with Dartford that they are suitable for your chassis and for what you're after.
Hope it helps. Dan
