Say goodbye to Chilton, Jelley and the back half of the grid and you'd have less than a dozen failed single seat prima donnas and Matt Neal. Pay drivers are, and always have been, the bedrock of the BTCC and the British GT championships. I don't see anything wrong with it at all. Without pay drivers these series wouldn't exist.
