Hi Guys,

After seeing how cheap some of the engines on ebay are going for, i'm wondering if I should treat myself and dip my toes back into karting. I used to race TKM 4/ and the only experience I have with the BT82 is a bit of Club100.

Some of the listings mention the bore size. Obviously the lower it is, the more life in the engine, but whats the upper limit?
I'm a senior driver, so to avoid getting a dog of an engine, would it be worth getting a junior engine (or a cheap engine with a hard life), and converting it to extreme, so that its effectively a new engine?

I'm new to 2/ so i'm sorry if some of these questions sound dumb!

Cheers
Anjum
