Quotation from Bonney:-

"The only winners from making claims are the usurping f@@$%&g solicitors!"

Oh, really? And what about the person who WINS the claim; aren't THEY 'winners', too?

The difference here is that Booney (and others) MIGHT one day be a recipient of a claim but they are LESS likely to suddenly become solicitors..... And THAT's the reason why they blame the SOLICITORS for the greed of people like the REST of us!

Secondly, that's wrong in principle. I wrote the software for a solicitors 'no win no fee' system and had a VERY close look at how it works. The REASON we have this 'aggressive' solicitor's approach is simple: it's because successive governments have damned nigh ABANDONED the fairer 'Legal Aid' system.

Finally, you lump ALL such claims togther as 'greedy solicitors'. How would you feel about an example case with which I dealt?

An elderly lady had a firm of plumbers fit a new immersion-heater-cylinder (whatever they are properly called). Two days later, she LITERALLY fell through the FLOOR! The 'plumbers' had removed the floor boards (to sell-on) and replaced them with HARD BOARD!

Legal aid refused to help her even though she was badly injured and extremely poor and it was ONLY a 'no win, no fee' solicitor that would take the case. We/they 'won' for her the rightfully deserved money PLUS appropriate compensation!

A REAL exanple of a TRUE 'winner' from the current, pretty poor, system!

Please note, there were THOUSANDS of other deserved 'wins' alongside some truly UNdeserved 'wins'. Blame the systemn that GOT us to here, the almost complete anihilation of 'legal aid', and NOT (necessarily) the solicitors who work IN this HOPELESS situation!
