give sings some credit - hes been baited by itpro many times, hes gone away, done research to back up his veiw/ideas, with people who think the same way, who themselves actually research the subject.
I always said a warm planet was a good thing, I think its really obvious - this is the rare time I would use capitals ""REALLY OBVIOUS"" Only climate change Global warming idiots seem to think thats its bad with no credible evidence, because they have been 'sold' the idea that its bad - and each and everyone of us PAY the extra tax charged by morons from the government who really dont have a clue,(REALLY) - thats politics for you.
On the other hand, before buy a new pair of gloves, there just isn't enough understanding to say if there is a fore coming cold snap, how long/cold it'll all be.
Winter 1963 seems to stand alone, 2 suspected reasons for it, Thermonuclear testing causing a mini 'nuclear winter' and there was a volcanic eruption that may have effected our local climate around that time. (thats all I can find)(1963bc, before computers)
Even if the sun turns to low a activity period, I would think that the earth could need other contributing factors to be able enter into a prolonged cold period.
One peice of research I read thought that man made global warming has actually helped prevent an ice age "new sceientist" - no credit will be given to this idea, bacause the GW lot are so solo idealised in a multi dimensional subject.
If a ice age was to come you wouldnt be ice karting, most research would suggest that given a catastrophic event - civilisation would last about 2 weeks - by the end of the month a vast majority (over50%) (35 million in this country )would have been killed or starved.
Happy Christmas everybody ;-)
