Hmmmmm. That wouldn't have anything to do with the attitude expressed on this forum last year would it?
When a member of the ABKc declared it was illegal to run Formula Blue at clubs affiliated to ABKC, when the MSA had to rule that such a declaration was nonsense and eventually ABKC themselves had to declare that the person wasn't acting as a representative of ABKc?
I'm not complicated enough to be political, but it would seem to me that it might be difficult to be present in the face of that sort of antagonism. (The fact that the NKRA are the authority for Formula Blue's regulation is what links the two incidents.)

I think that is very sad for DKRC members then who lose the opportunity to use their club as 'registration' for the NKRA, thus qualifying their club to be invited to host future NKRA rounds. No doubt they may use Clay Pigeon instead
I also think it is sad for those drivers in Formula Blue who have been wondering on the DKRC website about the possibility of a grid in future. After all, if you don't affiliate with the organisation sponsoring the rules, can you actually race the class?
You make my point that AGMs and committees are rife with politics, where the apparently simple saving of £50 by a club has all sorts of unexpected consequences.
But no doubt it was a decision properly explained with balance given to both sides and put to the membership prior to an AGM?
