evilzeus, welcome to this board

Hand operated front brakes are used in the Rotax Max Euro Challenge.

Points for

1. Safer as you have two systems if one fails

2. Quicker as you can brake harder when needed, but its not always needed

Points against

1. Cost

2. Extra weight

3. Less skill required to race, although some will debate this point.

How to use them - practice and lots of it!
