Road Runner, that is a flawed argument and you have not correctly read what I’ve said. I have won races by using kerbs, the same as other drivers also using kerbs.

Kerb hopping and corner cutting is against the rules. It is not right that because the CIK/MSA are negligent in enforcing existing regulation and in order to remain competitive, everyone is forced to break the rules, damage their equipment, have further cost and regulation imposed on them.

Lets be clear here, a kart will not disintegrate the first time it hits a kerb, but people perhaps do not understand the stress a kart is put under when they claim that repeated kerbing does not cause damage.

Kerb use will continue while CoCs maintain their present irreverent view. Since there is the same procedure to enforce the white line rule, as there is to enforce no contact, then I fear that there is little deterrent to both these driving standards.

Yet again, not single person has been able to provide a counter answer to the following:

1) A legitimate benefit gain to the sport from allowing repeated corner and kerb cutting (other than to reduce lap times).

2) A legitimate detrimental loss to the sport from banning repeated corner and kerb cutting (other than to increase lap times).
