And those who use Apples to make money are a minuscule FRACTION of the number who use PCs to make money.

Fact!

Apples are correctly perceived by 'business' as pretty and expensive TOYS by the rest of 'business'! Fine for children and home use but that's IT!

And..... the majority of those who DO use Apples to make money are those in the visual or audio ARTS (and Architects) market where the Apple USED to be the 'king' but has lost that REAL advantage to Unix machines and PCs although the PERCEPTION of the advantage still exists amongts the DINOSAURS of those trades!

Just ask Chris Kasch!....... whose industry KEEPS expecting him to use Apples and hasn't even realised it's POSSIBLE to do their work on a PC JUST as quickly and VASTLY more cheaply!

The blindness to 'reason' of Apple people is LEGENDARY!

To be precise.... whose processor is now in Macs? Whose word processing software is the majority BUSINESS use in Macs, whose Spreadsheet is the majority BUSINESS use in Macs.

Let's get it right:- it's an Intel Chip, it Runs Microsoft Word and Excel as it's MAIN 'business tools'...... and one of MAJOR parts of Mac's marketing is the inclusion of BOOTCAMP (and I quote from Apples' site):

"So advanced, it even lets you run Windows if there’s a PC application you need to use"

..... which turns the Mac INTO a PC! (so it can do some WORK!)

http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/bootcamp.html

That sounds a HELL of a lot like the jolly old PC to me! Why not simply BUY a PC...... in fact TWO PCS for the same price..... and avoid all the AppleMac HASSLE???

Can you find me the page on Microsoft's web site where they offer people "BackwardBootCamp" to convert our Vista PCs into an Apple..............????

Don't get me wrong.... if the Apple is right for you.... you keep it!

Ian
