well you dont need to spend fortunes in cadets to be very competive, but knowledge learning and listerning to others can save you more, its easy to spend money in the wrong areas and that can be 1000's and then a 25quid item can find you over a 1sec. When you chasing down the front runners then its takes effort to find tenths and you need to get the cadet to be consitant, 1 fasted lap does not win you a race. Time effort belief more time more effort and more belief and you will make inroads. However dont expect top results without spending a few ггггггг but we have raced 26weekends in the past yr and spent under 6k inc fuel to goto the tracks
