Have you ever considered running a top kart I've got an evo and its the most neutral chassis I've ever driven, easy to set up and very well made also you can use alot of generic parts on them without a problem as long as you use genuine axles.

Not terribly fashionable but mine is 2 years old now and is still as consistent as the day I bought it, also it handles just as well in the wet as it does in the dry and can be picked up reasonably cheaply
