Don’t be daft it’s essentially the same software ported over to the PC platform. I’ve even tested the same music collection on a Mac with another identical iPod and had the same issues with playback from iTunes on both the Mac and iPod, yet Windows Media Player handles it fine.

As I already said my 9 year old PC works perfectly and it can run Mychron and Jet-Tec software, your Mac can’t, whereas I really can use my old PC for karting. If this modern software is running slowly on a decade old machine I can upgrade parts of the hardware for pennies, your Mac isn’t upgradeable but the styling is nice.

Of course simple software is going to be simple to use, but when I’ve got proper work to do I’ll use software with proper controls. I haven’t got kids, although I’ve got a cat that’s a wizz with the cat-flap because of the ease of use of the flap, he can’t open doors but that doesn’t mean cat-flaps are better than doors ;)

I’m not as artistically talented as Chris but I’m experienced in Photoshop and Adobe software so know it runs just the same on similar specification of Mac or PC. Also agree with Chris that many in media and publishing stick with Macs out of habit. I can’t see how a PC that has the same architecture as the beloved Mac can be described as Neanderthal. At least I can play games on it instead of swivelling the trendy screen around at twice the cost.

In case you were wondering my user name Dan XP1 isn’t a reference to the Windows XP operating system, it’s something entirely different.
