It works flawlessly and simply.

I still use a 10 year old Mac and laptop for some things, karting for one and it works perfectly and has never missed a beat.

Pages is light years ahead of Word and Keynote is the same over Powerpoint. I now work on Word docs in Pages and if needed to do so save it in Word for those with neandrathal machines. Showed my daughter how to do this last night and blew her away with Pages versatility over Word. Earlier this year having never used Powerpoint in my life my daughter took an hour and a half to sort me a presentation out in Powerpoint (and she's quick), the next morning I decided to rework it and used Keynote and even having never used anything like that before did that and another presentation in less than an hour!

I like a bargain, but I'd pay for the quality of the Mac everyday of the week and haven't yet found a fault that couldn't be resolved free at the Genius Bar in 15 mins free of charge!
