I doubt that very much.... seals are naturally worn from the moment of first use onwards, and their flexible construction make accurate measurement very difficult by any mechanical means (a shadowgraph would probably be the best method). I also doubt (but have not read them), that the rules say anything at all about how worn the seals may be since they relatively quickley wear out beyond useability, there would only be a narrow window within which the advantages outweighed the disadvantages.
