I know one person who's son was constantly near the back of the pack, he approached his engine bulider, payed Ł2k for a "good" engine, payed Ł150 for his Tryton to be dynoed then, hey presto.... his son was at the front, nothing to do with driver ability,nothing to do with skill, just the size of his wallet. It's always been that way in cadet and alway's will be. It really annoy's me when people say
"improve racing line", "time in seat",
just admit it, the man with the most money will be more competative than the average.
If you have an engine built to the manufacturer specification, it will be good, unless you cheat, and who'd do that in cadet.
