You IMBECILE!

YES: The Milky was HAS absorbed Galaxies in the PAST! The SCALE of that 'PAST' is in BILLIONS of years! It is NOT within the past 100 years which is when Global Warming started!!! How have these galaxies SUDDENLY started affecting our climate when they haven't changed their RELATIVE POSITIONS to us in the last MILLION years?????

And how the HELL have they STOPPED affecting us between January and December 2007.... WHICH IS WHAT YOU ARE CLAIMING?????????????

The TIME SCALE for 'absorbing galaxies' is in MILLIONS of years and NOT MONTHS or even HUNDREDS of years!

Secondly, the Andromeda Galaxy (the one you quote that we are goung to crash into) is 2.5 MILLION light years away.

That is FURTHER (do you GET it?...... FURTHER!!!!!) away than the NEAREST Galaxy!

So........ you moron...... how does the Andromeda Galaxy have more effect our 'climate' than does our NEARER, SUBSTANTIAL neighbour! When it GETS within range, it MIGHT WILL (probably) have an effect but it WON'T be NEARER than our 'neighbour' for at LEAST 500,000,000 (half a BILLION) years!!!! So that is the EARLIEST it could even be PLAUSIBLE to suggest that Iit could have an EFFECT on us!

So...... if you DETECT any global warming in 500,000,000 years time, come and tell me THEN!!!!!

You really don't comprehend ANY of this, do you????

Let my try to put in terms you MIGHT understand! I know NOTHING about football so I'll do a bit of 'Singers' on the subject:-

Singers Type View on Football:-
***************************************

What's wrong with Manchester Hotspurs is because Bobby Best, who was the Captain of the British Football team in 1973 failed his short-putt on the 19th hole and lost us the Jules and Jim trophy (stolen by Pickles the hamster)!

Since that date, the British Football 15 has had no confidence during the weekly Varsity race ! I can only hope that the addition of Lewis Hamilton's excellent score on the 'ockey will help our plucky team win the first few sets at the NEXT world Cup to be held at Wimbledon in 2011!

***********************

Now.....as you said.... my views about football are :-

"new thinking, groundbreaking, interesting theories, plausible theories, wishful thinking, and do not bow to mainstream popular opinion"

If YOUR joke theories are to be treated seriously, then so must MY views on the state of The British 8-a-side Squad at the Grand National at Ascot!

Either that or we are BOTH talking TOTAL B*LL*CKS about subjects that we DON'T understand! You MAY know about football but I KNOW about ASTRONOMY!

Ian
