Ian,

You moving away from the fact here and pointing out the difficaulties. Lets go back to the facts.

I one of the earlier notes for Will he points out that

"for starters i am not going to point any fingers and blame anyone (yet). therefore im not going to say which engine it is until we have proved it wasnt us that have touched the engine by showing that none of our seals have been tampered with"

My understanding is that the initial issues with this engine where discovered when looking down the inlet side of the engine (where the carb rubber goes). This appeared to have been removed and modified to make a straighter path for the fuel to travel into the engine. This part is not protected by a seal and could be removed and modified without breaking the seal. It may be these inital findings that have made the MSA stewards feel its worth lookig inside. We don't know if they have or will find anything yet.

Other than that Will has avoid making any comment including any attempt to protest his innocence.

Additional Will makes a comment about the use of seals.

"And one other thing, wouldnt all of these situations with dodgy seals and people mucking round with engines go if there were no seals?? that way when you buy a second hand motor you can open it up to check it and perform all engine rebuilds yourself, and when you go to the track people like klaason open it up and make sure its all legal. to me this sounds a much better option as you then have no excuse for running with an illegal engine"

I'm not sure I understand how this would have helped Will as the part understood to be in beach was not sealed and could of been checked (and was).

On a final point I don't accepts that running a kart for the back of a car and being short of funds is in anyway a defence to suggest this person would not cheap. In my oppinion they are just a likely to look for shortcuts.

Only my views in a country that supports freedom of speach. Please dont suie me for them. :-)
