I recently had major problems with my powervalve assy, both running and getting it to work smoothly and freely in the head. I replaced everything except the alloy housing and black plastic cap which the bellows sit onto under tension from the spring!(purely because they looked alright and i was trying to save some pennies) Set it all up went out for practice and still no good! on very close inspection i found the threaded rod into the black plastic cap was misaligned and out of true. new plastic cap and hey presto just as it should be. Now when i remove it from the head it is very easy to realign and tighten with little effort! Good luck.
