I think the key to this is simpler...... and that is.......it's you second time in the wet!

You have LOT to learn and I would suspect that 90% of any problem you have will be within your driving than in the kart itself! Yes.... the 'setup' IS important but much less than your abilities at THIS stage.

In the wet, the manner in which you apply the throttle will control how much the back steps out! It should be MUCH more smoothly than in the dry.

Secondly, in the wet, you expect to do some some/ALL of the following:-

* Raise your centre of gravity (move the seat UP or your weights UP the seat)
*Widen the front track
*Narrow the REAR track as narrow as you can run
*Move your weight distribution FORWARD a fraction, (that will mke the 'step-out' worse but it will reduce the UNDER steer)
* Raise your front ride height!
* Raise the tyre pressures.

Finally, we would EXPECT the back to 'step out'. You shouldn't be even SLIGHTLY surprised by that does! Once you have made the front grip, the back WILL give up when you giuve throttle! Many of us simply lean as far BACK as we can SAFELY do to transfer more weight over the rears.

Now..... tell us more about this carb problem!
