We have three B5s. Our two race engines are 0.1bhp between them which we are happy with. We have a new B5 for practise and early indications show this engine is not far behind straight from the box. Done 3 hours on it at present so a bit early to tell for sure.

I would say in our experiance B5s are pretty similar from the box. Having a choice of carbs and getting them matched to the engines on a dyno is worth the time and expense. This gained us approximately 0.3bhp on our race engines. These points of bhp don't sound much but they all add up.

WTP would seem to be pretty equal, especially when you talk to Comer Dads!
