Apart from optimising the cam timing (I don't have the equipment) I prepare my own engines. A little time and attention to detail, and I've found I can be reasonably competitive (if a new lap record at Bayford is competitive...) I would like to see .25 and .5mm overbores allowed so that I could resurrect a few of my old bores for racing. Blueprinting would also give me a more viably economic way to compete with those with fat wallets.
In the meantime I'll soldier on with my 9 year old chassis and self prep engines, and let my driving do the talking...
