market place every morning! wow! when i look on there there seems to be too much to even understand let alone look at it all!

I want to ask for your advice on buying Darren Rounds TKM chassis and 100cc engine? Really itchy to buy something now and have thought quite abit about Darrens kart...

the Chassis is a JKH - not too sure what year, about 2002 i think... In pretty good condition, he says his son Lewis hasnt even used it, he told me it is straight and had no welding done to it... he wants £200 for the rolling chassis, the only thing being that it has the old, box'y side pods and I know u cant use them next year for racing so will need some new ones of them?
(Seen side pods for approx £30-60 on e-bay)

The engine (Dorris - he calls it) is 100cc so to extreme it i will need to bore the engine, with that in mind, it will be the first bore so is a good thing right? the carb im guessing is restricted for the junior class but think its pretty easy and cheep to change that? £200 for that engine (how much could it cost to get te engine bored? - did call a kart shop today but they never got back to me)

He said if I have it of him, he will give me a big box of slicks and wets to play about with, guessing about 3 full sets of slicks and prob 1 set of wets? He also said he can give me his old trolly, dodgy wheel apparently but is fine other than that - im sure i can fix it up?

I was thinking of giveing him an offer, bearing in mind i need to bore the engine and new side pods, If i offer £350 for the lot is that a good starting point?

that is bearing in mind he still has it for sale?

I am tempted tho to possibly try and get an extreme kart, with everything ready to go, except will that not cost alot more than the above? (also if it has been bored loads of times, will the life of it be restricted?)

I bought a 2 peice waterproof suit last night of e-bay, after last weekend i think its going to be a good investment!

anyways, looking forward t hear r thoughts?
