Thanks Davy

I read the sites you mentioned but is setting the pop off really just strtching or cutting the spring?

Also what should the pressure held be?
I have a carb tester that attaches onto the fuel inlet ontop of the carb - do I need to remove the high jet to avoid blowing the thing up like a balloon - really a step by step guide to setting and testing pop off would be good.

I'm fairly comfortable in rebuilding the carb other than removing the pressed in metal disc which I left alone and the high jet valve thing.
