If the stud is scrap and you plan to replace it, you could just file 2 flats at either side of the stud and extract it with an adjustable spanner or mole grips. Might be worth applying a little heat to the hub itself around the stud with a paint stipper gun too before you try to twist the stud out. Obviously it will get hot so watch yourself.
