What a stupid comment to make. Maybe you should try having a race on a race track, you might then be able to appreciate how difficult a situation like that is from a drivers perspective. Have you ever raced when your kart / vehicle starts to aquaplane?
Nobody is to blame for an incident like that. It's more of a question as to what could be improved to recover vehicles that have retired / crashed out.
The actual incident was a freak accident whereby an unusual set of circumstances all occurred at the same time resulting in a horrible accident. Lessons will be learnt and as a result the sport will become safer just as it has done in every freak accident over the past 20 years.
