The whole point of my post was to say that, finally, a proper legal judgement could be issued that would set precedent regarding the msa rules. Nothing in my post was intended to infer anything else. As a matter of interest, upon googling "barrack room lawyer" , there appears to be a conflict in the definitions offered; it either being somebody who proffers advice when in ignorance of the law, or somebody who does actually know every clause and sub-clause of the regulations. In my opinion, a barrack room lawyer is somebody without legal training who does know the rules, and corrects those who would rather he didn't know the rules! So based on my own definition of "barrack room lawyer", I would be happy to be classed as such!!!
