So why do we not apply that to the poor horses that die evey year needlessly for our entertainment then?

Trying to compare horse racing with the TT is stupid, the riders have a choice they either want to race or they stay at home, of course IF the TT was banned for safety reasons then the riders couldn't and wouldn't do it and if it was banned i would applaud it.

IMO the grand national should also be banned, mainly because we are forcing horses to do something that risks their live for OUR enjoyment, they can't decide whether they want to do it, they are forced and if they don't run fast enough they get whipped, this is why you CANNOT compare horse racing with the TT because while it is still legal the riders STILL can make a choice, horse can't!

I can't understand why some on here can't see it!!!

If 5 footballers died every year in the cup final there would be an outrage, something would soon be done even though footballers chose to be footballers and accepted the risks......HORSES CAN'T MAKE THAT CHOICE, we force them to their deaths sometimes, why can't you see that that is wrong, if we bred young kids to forced them to play football knowing full well that 5 footballers die every year in the cup final football would soon be banned, of that there is no doubt, yet why do we let horses go to their deaths so easily, for an animal loving nation i can't fathom it.
