Your comparison is false. I'm not asserting that anyone has suggested the banning of motorcycle racing. That would be akin to saying that motorcar racing should have been banned because F1 was too dangerous. Clearly nonsense.
The IOM TT is a specific form of motorcycle racing (time trials on public roads). Calling for that to be banned is akin to calling for the ban of a specific form of motorcar racing (say F1).
Your comparison to F1 no longer racing on the Nordschleife is an interesting one, with some merit. However, the Nordschleife was not fundamentally part of F1. The sport would continue by racing at any other circuit. Can the same be said of the IOM TT? Is the IOM TT fundamentally different from any other form of motorcycle racing? It's clear from the number of entrants that there is demand for an event of its kind.
