Some musings for you guys.
Would it appear that Schumacher's Canadian GP form was a one-off? Once again we saw him make quite frankly a rookie mistake with the collision with Petrov, and afterwards he never seemed truly bothered! Even after that incident he should've finished higher than 17th!! Is it time the great man realised he's only human?!
All the pressure being heaped onto Alguersuari after qualifying badly and the boy finished 8th!! Fantastic drive!! Granted, he was given a nice strategy but he was the one who pulled it off!! Should it be Buemi that is looking over his shoulder at Ricciardo?
I was convinced that the ban on altering engine mapping overnight would hamper Red Bull, but it would appear that I, along with many others, were mistaken. Question is, will the effective banning of off-throttle EBD from Silverstone hit Red Bull harder than most? I'm starting to worry that we're seeing another Schumacher/Ferrari effect going on here.
And finally, this is the first race that I have been bored watching this year. Sure, its a nice place to watch racing from, but is it time the FIA dropped Valencia from the already cramped calendar. Even with the new overtaking aids, it was still a crap race.
Thoughts?
