"ha ha ha watch Dijon with GV???? wheel banging, forcefull driving beyond the limit"
That was REAL racing where the drivers gave each other racing room......that was why they overtook so often and why they both finished!!! I was racing at Oulton Park the weekend after that race, and could not believe it when the Clerk at drivers briefing told us he didnt want to see anything like that going on! That's how it's meant to be!!! How would GV have outbraked RA into the first corner each lap if RA had employed modern blocking tactics?
"Senna did that move for many reasons, that you do not seem to understand,"
I fully understand why he did it, but what you don't understand is that there is a massive difference between deliberately causing a collision into a low speed chicane, and doing so at 180mph.....the outcome is much less predictable!! Senna could not have known that Prost's car would not dig in and somersault in the gravel......anything could have happened.....
"This man WAS a great champion AND a GREAT man FACT!!!!!!!!"
No, he was neither! He was a quick driver who made the most of what he had by re-writing the rulebook of racing driver ethics.
Lets be clear - I said I wasn't a Senna fan. I accept that he was a quick driver (although I think Mansell was quicker), but as a man? You must be joking!
As for Matt Neal......one of the dirtiest drivers I've ever watched!! Feel free to tell him I said so!!
