Marriage is a pagan ceremony adopted by the Christians to try and get the pagans on board. Marriage does not work, hence the huge number of divorces. what a huge waste of money marriage turns out to be. It does not confirm commitment, it just confirms you will have a difficult time trying to free yourself from shackles imposed by a misguided society who believe you have to get married to prove commitment. Utter tripe yet again. Vast numbers live together and no goverment should intrude on the personal ideals and wishes of people by trying to encourage marriage. My God, they allow gay pseudo marriages/ceremonies and that is just so wrong, so who would want to be involved in a similar act by marrying a woman when that goes on?
